The POC-1 Ultra is designed with two PTT buttons: one for LTE and one for off-grid. When you're beyond cell towers, press the dedicated off-grid PTT to transmit directly to other radios using standard radio frequencies. For off-grid use, it use analog signal that transmits directly to other walkie-talkies nearby, requiring no towers or signal at all.

How do I switch modes?
It's instant and requires no menus. The POC-1 Ultra has two separate PTT (Push-to-Talk) buttons: one for LTE and one for Analog. You are always in complete control and choose the mode you need simply by pressing the corresponding button.
What is the real-world range?
LTE Mode: The range is effectively unlimited. As long as you and your group members have a cellular signal, you can talk across the city, state, or even country.
Off Grid Mode: The range depends on the terrain. Expect up to 35 miles depends on the level of obstacles.
Is there any monthly/annual fee?
For our pre-order customers, LTE service is completely FREE for LIFE. You will never pay a annual fee. Only 500 slots available.
After the pre-order period, other new customers will have their first year for free and $29/yr afterwards, unlike many other brands who charge $50+.
For POC-1 Ultra, if you choose not to renew sim service, you can still use off-grid mode for free.
Can it talk to my other radios?
YES, absolutely.
For POC-1, our LTE radio, they are naturally compatible and you can connect them instantly via Bluetooth.
For other analog radios, the POC-1 Ultra is designed with analog frequencies and no programming required. Simply tune the radio to the same channel as your group's any other analog radio to start talking instantly.
Can i use the radio without app?
YES! All core communication functions—both LTE PTT and Analog PTT—work independently without the app. The app is only needed for advanced features like viewing the live GPS map, managing groups remotely, and changing advanced settings.
Who can see my GPS location?
Your privacy is critical. Your location is only shared with the members of your private, encrypted group and is only visible on the secure map inside our app. It is never public, and you can turn off location sharing at any time.

How do I download and use the Poclink App?
You can download the Poclink app for free from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Just search for “Poclink”. Once installed:
- On your radio, press “Bind App” to enable pairing mode.
- Open the Poclink app and connect via Bluetooth.
- Once paired, you can:
- Create or join a group
- Rename and manage your devices
- Check battery levels
- Share group codes or QR codes
- Use voice replay and group talk
The app is Totaly FREE, no subscriptions, and gives you full control over your radios anytime.
