About Poclink
Poclink was born and based in Seattle, Washington. We are a communication pioneer on a global mission: bring people together through the power of connection no matter the distance and circumstances. At the core of everything we believe and do lies data, research, and rigorous testing. Whether on the mountains, trails, or highway roads, a journey with poclink is a journey with your friends & families.

Striking the POC balance
PRODUCT PHILOSOPHY
Every one of our products starts the same: by finding and defining a problem. What follows is a meticulous process guided by three core principles: connection, human-center and design. From material selection to shaping to colour and everything in between, every product decision is weighed according to these principles until we achieve the best possible harmony between the three, resulting in ergonomically user-friendly walkie talkie for world-wide connection performance. But harmony does not mean conformity. With an explorative and curious mindset, we’re not afraid to create products that break convention and stand out from the crowd.

Eliminating the guesswork
WORKING WITH POC LAB
Kept with our users in mind, we’re diligent in our tracking of the user challenges and relentless in our questioning, determined to find every single ways for improvement. Getting to know all the challenges and crappy funkky temporary solutions of other radios is what allows us to create products that could not only solve the problem of using distance-limit radios and how hard it is to configure for a non-ham user, but enable our user with the power of nationwide ultra long range connection and right out of box experience. PoC that enhance your distance, bluetooth earphone that get you wirelessly connected, Super packed battery that keep you last for days & weeks are a few examples of what our preventive work can lead to. At the forefront of this work lies Poclink Lab, consisting of our Tech, Research and Design team
POC LAB: TECH & RESEARCH
With a holistic and innovative approach to communication, our in-house Tech & Research team uses pre-studies, testing and extensive research to develop ideas that haven’t been tried before. City connection test, extreme environment test and tons of 3d printed model for best ergonomical industrial design are a few examples of what may lead to our most stable & limitless radios so far.
Stable Communication is an all-round approach.

Letting passion lead the way
POCLINK CULTURE
We collaborate with first responders, outdoor hikers and events all over the world, yet we all have the same thing in common: passion. Whether that passion is to develop a safer ways of communications or to climb up the highest mountains of the cascades. we’re all constantly seeking new and unconventional ways to bring people together in all circumstances.
IT ALWAYS STARTS WITH A PROBLEM.
Developing trusted stable communication starts with identifying the most critical problems. It means asking the right questions and challenging conventional wisdom.
Problems are always related to improving communication network, and challenging accepted conventions related to traditional analog radio waves & totally off grid connections. All these started one day when our founder Adam faced the unstable communication experience on a mountain while snowboarding with his pals. Adam was lost on the backside of stevens pass when the sun is going down and there's no way his analog radio can reach the people waiting for him in the frontside of the mountain. The signal was blocked by the mountain. He got lost in the woods and that experience almost end him for good. Chairlift was closed when he tried to get out of the treehole. It took almost four hours for him to get out of the rabbit hole and climb up to ski down to the parking lot. It was the moment he realized when the phone battery is dead due to the coldness and the distance limitation of the analog walkie talkie. He has to had a solution for thatl.Conventional analog radios are great when your loved ones are nearby, sometimes has to be less than 1 miles. But that's not always the case. When emergency happens or you and your loved ones are far apart. There should be a solutions to that problem. A solution that allow people to connect no matter where they are, sometimes cities apart or even countries apart, no matter how bad the cell tower signal is, no matter how bad the power outage is. People are still be able to connect and linked together, even though physically alone but virtually together with poclink radio.
OUR MISSION IS TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES AND DISTANCE
We are relentless in our quest for more stable, better product experience and technologies. In our development process, we solve problems and materialise our mission to enpower our users.
WE TEST. AND TEST. AND TEST AGAIN.
We approach problems from different angles to arrive at new and better solutions. At Poclink Lab, our in-house research team, we perform our own research and analysis to determine how current accepted standards and norms could be improved for everyone’s communications. We bring our products around the states to analyse coverage distribution. We collaborate with local businesses and outdoor experts to see how our product behave on different scenarios. We test and iterate with shape and material analysis to learn more about a product's potentials and to give designers the freedom to experiment with potential new avenues of development.
The limits and boundaries of communications are forever changing. So, we utilize data based user testing, fast deployed model sculpting, and 3D scanning, as well as a host of other methods, to craft the most rugged and compact design for a ultra powerful limitless walkie talkie.
