A Dual-Mode Radio Built for the Mountain. Reliable Communication, No Matter Where You Ride.
Whether you’re gearing up at the car, in lift lines, dropping into trees, or regrouping at the summit, Poclink keeps you connected across the whole resort.
- Unlimited Range Communication
LTE covers most major U.S. and Canadian ski resorts.
Talk from parking lot to peak, across lift zones, and between frontside/backside terrain. - No signal? Switch to Analog Mode
In low-signal areas like trees, gullies, or remote ridges, analog mode provides reliable short-range comms. - Built for the Mountain
Faster and clearer than phones, far more capable than traditional radios.
Poclink for Skiing
Full Resort Coverage
Traditional analog radios only work when everyone stays close or on the same face of the mountain. The moment you spread out, pick up speed, or drop into trees, bowls, or the backside, the signal disappears.
Poclink uses LTE to deliver true full-resort coverage — front side, backside, tree runs, ridgelines, bowls, and completely different zones. Even if your crew splits up or rides different chairs, you stay connected without having to stay close.
Works Off-Grid
Snow resorts always have no-service pockets: tree runs, sidecountry gates, valleys, and back bowls where LTE drops out completely.
Poclink’s dual-mode design switches to analog when there’s no network, so you still have a way to reach your team. Whether someone ducks into a tree line, drops into a hidden bowl, or ends up on the wrong side of a ridge, you never lose communication.
Glove-Friendly Design
You get instant communication without taking off gloves, stopping your run, or digging through your pack.
- Large glove-friendly PTT button
- Loud speaker
- Lightweight, compact body
- Optional protective case with metal clip for mounting on straps or packs
- Cold-resistant performance

Frequently Asked Questions
Poclink has two primary models:
- POC-1 (LTE Global Walkie Talkie)
- POC-1 Ultra (Global Coverage & Off Grid Dual Mode Walkie Talkie)
Both POC-1 and POC-1 Ultra offer unlimited range under LTE mode, and POC-1 Ultra also supports off-grid mode!
We use encrypted network protocols to provide nationwide and even global communication. With no lag or delay - thousands of miles - crystal clear!
No - Never! You won’t need a license to use our radio. However, using other traditional analog walkie-talkies do need a license; using one without it can lead to fines and legal risks.
No, never! There are no monthly fees, no annual fees, no contracts, and no subscriptions — ever.
We’re the only company offering lifetime free SIM service, featuring a standard global plan that works in 35+ countries.
While other brands charge $100 or more just to access a global plan — plus ongoing yearly fees — we include international coverage for free in select countries.
Here’s how it works:
- POC-1 Ultra: Comes with lifetime SIM-free service included with every radio.
- POC-1: Comes with 1 year of free SIM service, and you can upgrade to lifetime coverage for just $49 per radio — while others charge $50 per year.
Step 1: Power it on.
Step 2: Hold the Volume + button to create and share a group. On another radio, hold Volume – to search and join that group.
Step 3: Start talking — instantly.
That’s it. No app required.
If you want to explore more advanced features — such as renaming groups or devices, or viewing GPS locations (available on Ultra models) — you can use the Poclink App.
Public Groups are open community channels where Poclink users can talk and connect with others nationwide or globally.
Each group has its own theme — for example, Nationwide Lounge, Outdoor Hub, or HAM Hub — allowing you to meet people who share similar interests.
You can join a Public Group directly from your radio by entering the Group Code, or by scanning the QR code in the Poclink App.
No invitation is needed — just join, talk, and connect with the Poclink community anywhere in the world.
Yes, they can!
As long as both radios are connected to the internet and join the same group, they can communicate with each other instantly — no distance limit, no pairing required.
Our radios perform very well in cold weather. We’ve tested them on ski slopes at around minus four Fahrenheit, and they stayed stable for the entire day with no issues.
Using the protective case also adds an extra layer of insulation, which helps maintain battery performance in low temperatures.
Yes, it’s very easy to operate even while wearing gloves and a helmet. The buttons are large with a firm click feel, so you can press the PTT and switch functions without removing any gear. Many of our ski-test users operate the radio with thick winter gloves and have no issues.
The radio is also compact and very lightweight. With the protective case and metal hook, you can clip it directly onto your jacket or backpack. The overall size and weight are similar to a typical hand mic, so it never feels bulky.
In PoC mode, as long as the resort has cellular coverage, the range is basically unlimited. You can talk anywhere across the entire mountain, and even stay connected if you get separated from your group, leave the resort, or travel to another state or country.
In analog mode, the radio uses the maximum power allowed without a license. In clear line-of-sight you can reach over 30 miles, but in mountain terrain, 1 to 5 miles is typical.
The Poclink Radio is snow-resistant, so it works normally in snowy conditions on the mountain. However, it’s not designed to be fully waterproof or submerged in water.
We recommend brushing off any snow so it doesn’t melt on the device when you go back indoors. This helps prevent moisture from entering the buttons or ports.
